Could the reason that your student is acting out be because they are suffering from nicotine withdrawal? In today’s world, vaping is in schools, on TV and streaming platforms, in the hands of celebrities, and on the counters at convenience stores. Youth often think that vaping isn’t harmful to their health because it isn’t a cigarette, but we know that one vape can contain 40 cigarettes worth of nicotine or more! This exposure to nicotine can change youth brains, make it difficult to focus in school and cause behavioral problems when they are in withdrawal. Come learn about some ways to recognize withdrawal in your students, motivate them to live a nicotine-free life, and help students who are addicted to quit vaping.
