Concert Information
Concert Attire:
Students need to wear concert black: a black dressy top (button-down or polo for boys), black pants, or a long skirt for girls, with black shoes. The dressier, the better! Please make sure there aren’t any stylish holes in the pants; their instruments tend to get stuck. (It happens regularly!)
If you can't obtain the appropriate attire, please let me know.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at dustan.eckmann@wcspk8.org. I check my email often, but if I don’t respond, please send me a second email. Â
Listener etiquette:
The students performing need to focus. Distractions such as flash photography, loud noises, or a phone going off can cause mistakes. I want them to do their best; kids can have a lot of performance anxiety, so providing a quiet and visually calm setting is best.Â
There will be floor seating, but I would appreciate it if you could fill those last seats. I want grandparents and anyone with mobility issues to have a spot to stay for the concert.Â
You can attend the afternoon concert as well, but the evening concert is required of all students!
Entrance and Parking:
The doors will be open on the south side of the building by the middle school gym. I will also have the main entrance doors open for those who can’t find parking on the South end of the building.
