Jana McDaris (Gord-O)

Hey everyone! I am excited to be at Southeast for my 2nd year as a School Counselor. Throughout the years I have worked many different jobs and some better than others. But I knew I wanted a change, so I decided to go back to school for a third time and get my Masters in Education specializing in School Counseling. It was a long road with many bumps along the way, but very rewarding in the end. Now I am here with you all and ready for all that is to come. I am family oriented, although I am not married and do not have children, I love all of my little nieces and nephews lots and lots! My favorite color is purple (any shade), with light blue as a close second. I love all animals, but Penguins are my all time favorite. When I am not working I am spending time with my dog Lorelai (yes, from Gilmore Girls) and hanging out with family and friends. No one ever said life would be easy (if they did, they lied) but as long as you live your life to the fullest and follow your heart it will be a rewarding life.
