· Students in the 10th grade may enroll in approved Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) courses at a participating TCSG institution only.
· Students in the 10th grade with a minimum SAT score of 1200 or minimum ACT composite score of 26 in a single national test administration, taken prior to the term of enrollment and in the GSFC Dual Enrollment system, may enroll in any approved Dual Enrollment courses at a TCSG, USG or private eligible participating postsecondary institution.

· Students are required to meet with their home school’s Curriculum Assistant Principal before withdrawing from a Dual Enrollment course. Students withdrawing before the Dual Enrollment College drop date and receiving a “W” will have the opportunity to enroll in the high school equivalent course with no penalty. The grade received in the high school course will appear on the student’s transcript. Students not reporting a “W” or withdrawing after the Dual Enrollment College drop date will receive a score of 69 for the course on their transcript.
· Students must meet with a School Counselor and have their classes confirmed by the counselor that these dual enrollment classes meet requirements before they register with the Dual Enrollment institution. Any student that takes dual enrollment classes during the school day that was not confirmed by the school counselor will be marked as unexcused.
· No student should take a Dual Enrollment class that conflicts with a class they are enrolled in at their home schools. This may occur with Summer Dual Enrollment Classes. Students must get permission from their School’s Principal in order to attend these Dual Enrollment classes in lieu of their school’s classes. The absences will be excused as an activity absence. Students not receiving permission will have those absences marked as unexcused.
