Student needs have outgrown the space in our elementary schools. Moving Grade 6 to the middle schools will add 33 classrooms across the elementary buildings. This means we can:

• Bring Universal Pre-K classes into our buildings, instead of outside venues

• Offer programs for our English Language Learners

• Make room for art classes, band lessons, and important services (a space for social workers, AIS services, and more).

• Create continuity: many students now have to enroll wherever a program is offered. If we offer more Integrated Co-Taught (ICT) classes at each building and expand self-contained classes, they can stay in their home school.
