Homework is assigned most days and will generally be extra practice and/or fluency activities to help maintain or practice a new learned skill. It is critical that homework is completed regularly. independent reading should occur for at least 20 minutes each night. Other assignments may be given as homework on occasion. Please note that we respect family time and have taken this into consideration.

Assigned classwork not completed in school due to various reasons (i.e. instrument lessons) will be assigned as homework.

Grades are given on a scale of 1-4 for each subject. They are standards-based. Rubrics, proficiency scales, and other tools will determine how well students meet grade level standards and is not based on the percentage of learned material.
