My name is Ms. Palomba, and I’m excited to begin another wonderful year in fourth grade!
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education (Grades 1–6) and my Master’s in Literacy (Birth–Grade 6) from The College of Saint Rose. I’m also a certified professional coach through iPEC, which has deepened my commitment to supporting students not just academically, but emotionally and personally as well.
I’ve spent the last seven years teaching fourth grade in upstate New York, and I’m thrilled to begin my eighth year continuing in a grade I love so much. Every year brings new personalities, new perspectives, and new opportunities to grow together.
Outside of the classroom, my most important role is being a mom. I have a two-year-old son and absolutely love doing life with him—everyday moments, adventures big and small, and everything in between.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that meaningful learning starts with strong relationships. I believe social-emotional learning is at the heart of everything we do. When children feel seen, safe, and supported, they’re empowered to take risks, express themselves, and grow—academically and as humans.
I can’t wait to learn and grow alongside your child this year!
