Meet the Teacher

A little bit about me...

I am married to my husband Frank.  We have a daughter at Ketcham High School, and a son in 6th grade here at Oak Grove!  We also have three pets; a dog and two cats.  It is a fun and busy house!  We love to go for walks and hikes, watch movies, and go to new places!  I like to read, spend time with my family, and I love to craft! 

This is my 18th year teaching, and my 13th year working with first grade!  I spent my first 7 years teaching in the Bronx.  The next 7 years I taught in New Paltz.  This is my 4th year teaching first grade at Oak Grove!

I completed my Bachelors in Elementary Education from The University of Scranton.  I completed my Masters in Literacy from CUNY Lehman.  I am a lifelong learner and take classes in Education when I can!
