WELCOME WJHS 7th Grade “Clothing” Students

Hello parents, guardians and students.  I hope you and your families are all well.  My name is Mrs. Levesque and I am your child’s Clothing teacher at WJHS. Clothing is a one quarter class for 7th graders.   Clothing class falls under the curriculum - Family & Consumer Science. 

Please feel free to reach out at any time with any question or concern or anything I may be able to help you with.  I will be available each school day via email.  I will check my email very frequently and respond to your query ASAP ☺! Please read the following information thoroughly.  

 I am here to help your child be successful.   If each student puts forth the effort and does their job as a learner, I have no doubt that each student will be successful.  If there are circumstances that may affect student learning/completion/access/performance, please just reach out as soon as possible and we will work through things together! Please know that attendance is a key to success!

 A few things to note - 

         Students will need to have a two-pocket folder designated just for Clothing class - it will stay in the classroom.  Please remind students that they will also need a pencil/pen each day and their fully charged Chromebooks.  We will keep cell phones off and away in lockers.  All student assignments/grades will be viewable through the parent portal.   Thanks to technology, you will be able to view all of your child’s grades in my class as soon as they are entered!  If it is a GOOGLE assignment, you can also see the grade in google classroom once it has been returned.   If you see a zero, that means your child received no credit for the assignment, i.e. they did not complete it or did not turn it in.   Please encourage your child to complete and turn in all work by posted due dates.   If you see an assignment - but do not see a grade for an assignment…that means I have not entered it yet.   If you should have a question regarding a grade, please speak to your child - view their classroom - and/or reach out to me.  I will enter all grades each week and you can check back any time to see how your child is doing.
