WELCOME WJHS 7th Grade “Clothing” STUDENTS 

(And Parents!)

Quarter 1  begins on Tuesday, September 8th

Quarter 2  begins on Monday, November 9th

Quarter 3  begins on Monday, February 1st

Quarter 4  begins on Monday, April 19th

Hello parents, guardians and students.  I hope you and your families are all well.  My name is Mrs. Levesque and I am a Family & Consumer Science Teacher at WJHS. I will have your student for 7th Grade Clothing Management  class at WJHS this year. Clothing is a quarterly class - so students will take it for only one quarter of the year. Clothing class falls under the curriculum - Family & Consumer Science. 

Please feel free to reach out at any time with any question or concern or anything I may be able to help you with.  I will be available each school day via email.  I will check my email very frequently and respond to your query ASAP ☺! Please read the following information thoroughly.  

 I am here to help your child be successful.   If each student puts forth the effort and does their job as a learner, I have no doubt that each student will be successful.  If there are circumstances that may affect student learning/completion/access/performance, please just reach out as soon as possible and we will work through things together! Please know that attendance is a key to success!  If a student is present each day with the supplies that they need and working to their potential - there should be no need to complete work outside of class. 

 A few things to note - 

         Students will need to have a two-pocket folder designated for  class - it will stay in the classroom.  Please remind students that they will also need a pencil/pen each day and their fully charged Chromebooks.  We will keep cell phones off and away in lockers.  All student assignments/grades will be viewable ASAP through the infinite campus.   Thanks to technology, you will be able to view all of your child’s grades in my class as soon as they are entered!  If it is a GOOGLE assignment, you can also see the grade in google classroom once it has been returned.   If you see a zero, that means your child received no credit for the assignment, i.e. they did not complete it or did not turn it in.   Please encourage your child to complete and turn in all work by posted due dates.   If you see an assignment - but do not see a grade for an assignment…that means I have not entered it yet.   If you should have a question regarding a grade, please speak to your child - view their classroom - and/or reach out to me.  I will enter all grades each week and you can check back any time to see how your child is doing.  You can find further information and class details on my teacher webpage!  Feel free to check it out!
