About the Teacher

I started teaching at Evans in September 1996.  I taught third grade for 3 years before moving to second grade. That's a long time!!! I have two children. My daughter is 20 and my son is 17. We have 2 dogs, Tucker and Ollie, who I love to take for walks and play with. 

I am so proud to be an Evans Eagle.  I grew up in Wappingers Falls and was a student at Evans. I have a longtime connection to this school and it's community.  Evans feels like home to me.  I hope that my students will feel the same fondness and pride in our school as I do.
