Dear Parents and Guardians:
Hello everyone. Let me begin by sharing my sincerest appreciation for the commitment you’ve made and the support you’ve provided to your child’s education this year. It has been my privilege thinking, learning, and laughing together with this group of students. I am very proud of them, and I wish them the best next year as they begin junior high school. In the meantime, I encourage your child to read during the summer – both fiction and nonfiction texts. I know that’s a difficult task, but it is necessary for keeping fluency and comprehension skills sharp. This includes students moving up to sixth grade in September. Click on the "Summer Reading" tab for information about a book recommendation.
