Homework Policy:

• Reading- Students will receive a reading log each Monday. Students are expected to read for a minimum of 20 minutes per night and fill out the reading log each night (Monday-Thursday). Reading logs are collected and checked every Friday. Students can read independently, with family members, on Raz kids or watch a read aloud on Youtube/Storyline Online.

• Math- Students will receive a weekly math fluency packet each Monday. The packet is review concepts. The packet should be completed throughout the week and is collected/graded on Friday. 

**If your child struggles with a homework question or received adult help, please write a note on the homework for the teacher to see. **

Grading Policy:

WCSD will be using standards-based report cards to evaluate and report the growth and achievement of all students K-6

Academic  Performance:

• 4.0 - Student is Exceeding Grade Level Standards 

• 3.5 - Progressing Towards 4.0 content 

• 3.0 - Student is Meeting Grade Level Standards 

• 2.5 - Progressing Towards 3.0 content 

• 2.0 - Student is Partially Meeting Grade Level Standards 

• 1.5 - Progressing Towards 2.0 content 

• 1.0 - Student is Far Below Meeting Grade Level Standards
