Mr. Kennedy

Gayhead Elementary School has been my home since the 1997-1998 school year.  Grades 3, 4, and 5 have shown me immense kindness over the years and I  learned a bit from each of them.  Most of my experience is in 5th grade, so I feel most at home here.  As an educator, I hope to teach my students at least as much as they teach me.  We are all always learning together.  I have an amazing wife and two children.  My son is just starting college and my daughter is in 11th grade at Arlington High School!  I try to use the empathy earned from parenting my own children whenever I communicate with students and parents.  I also try to keep it in mind while  assigning homework!  Finally, I have been so very fortunate to share my time, experiences, and love of learning with Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Bianco, and Mrs. Fakhoury.  I know this will be yet another  wonderful year!
