Grading Policy
Report Card Grading System-
The district's grading system is based on standards-based report cards. Your child will earn a score of 1-4 on graded assignments.. A score of 3 is meeting grade- level standards and where your child should be by the end of the year. A 4 is given when the child is showing a deeper/higher level thinking on the curriculum and is independently doing above grade level work.
In the past, a student would get a 4 if the grade was between 90%-100%,
but this is no longer the case since we aren't using percentages anymore.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please follow the link below
where you will find a chart and video explaining this new grading system.
You will see that the district has adopted a new report card this year.
Thanks!
