Each week you will receive up to 10 new vocabulary words as a part of a daily "Do Now" (warm up) task. Vocabulary Quizzes will be every other week on Fridays and contain the prior week's words (10 words maximum). Students are encouraged to make flashcards (handwritten) to study from. Students can earn an extra credit point on their quizzes by showing me their flashcards on the day of the quiz.
If you are absent from class and miss a day of vocabulary, you are responsible for making up the words you miss. They are posted in the slides below and are updated every morning. (Best viewed in slideshow mode.)
Your Weekly Warm Up sheet will be collected each week as a participation grade.Â
