Below is the outlines of how the parties are run.
Please note: Times presented are a rough estimate of how the party is broken down.
Birthday parties include the following:
Use of the pre-decorated education center as your party space for 90 minutes.
Birthday is hosted by one or more of our education team
Personal tour of our outdoor temperate loop
Meet 2 animals in the classroom (subject to availability)
Basic Schedule of AM Parties:
Party space doors open at 10:15. We are not able to let anyone in prior to this time.
10:30 - 10:40 (Welcome Activities)
Sea lion toss
Coloring animal masks
Party Music
10:40 - 11:10 (Zoo tour)
Guided by the birthday host, we will explore and stop by the outdoor exhibits in the temperate loop!
(Snow Monkey, Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Grizzly Bears and Sea Lions)
11:10 - 11:30 (Animal Guests!)
We will meet 2 animals in the party space and guest will be able to see them up close and touch them.*
11:30 - 12:00
This time is reserved for guest to eat and play. Food must be self serve as we do not provide any food or utensils. (See our FAQ).
At 12:00 Party guests are wrapped up and ready to exit as we close the party space to reset for our next program. Our birthday team is happy to provide any extra trash bags and assistance with clean up.
After the party guests are more than welcome to stay in the main zoo as well as the children’s zoo!
