All Subjects

Students can sign onto their Washington County Portal to access resources like Flocabulary, Online Textbooks, and Discovery Education.
Students will use their student ID/ "960 number" to log on.
IXL is a program for all subject areas. Students can answer questions with immediate feedback. If they are struggling with a concept, there is remedial help that is offered. Please focus on the "starred" items on their grade level.
Schoology is where your child will upload all of their assignments. This will be the Learning Management System we use while we distance learn.
Students will use their student ID/ "960 number" to log on to their portal to access Schoology.

Reading

Epic! is a great resource to find books online! It has Audiobooks, videos, and books to read on your own! These books are also AR books, so you can take a quiz!

Storyline Online features videos of celebrities reading fun children's books.
After reading a book at home or listening to a book online, click the link to take an AR test.
Can I take an AR Test on this book? There is no more wondering! Click on this website to type in your child's book title. It will tell you if you can take an AR test. It will even tell you the reading level!

Math

Reflex Math helps students learn their Addition & Subtraction Math facts. Some students may be on Multiplication & Division. If you are able, please have your child try to meet their green light three times a week.

Prodigy - Math is a program similar to Reflex. Each student has an account already created for them.
Khan Academy is a great way for your child to get help with what they’re learning in school or to learn something completely new. You will need to create an account (for free).

Games

Code.org is a coding website that we use to help students meet their computer science standard in the classroom.
Fuel the Brain is an addition website that provides additional instruction in math through games.
Sheppard Software provides resources, games, & activites for students in all academic areas.
ABC Mouse is a educational resource that provides supplemental games for reading and math instruction.
Starfall focuses on learning to read. This is a very engaging site that encourages wonderment and play.
ABCya has educational games that are very interactive. Type a concept in the search bar to play a game that connects with what we are learning.
Brainpopjr has videos for all subjects. After you watch a video, you can take a quiz, play a game, do an activity, or be told a joke.
GoNoodle is wonderful for quick, engaging videos that get students up and moving! Take a brain break with this resource!
Flocabulary shares educational videos. The easiest way to sign on is through your child's SSO (Single Sign-On Portal). Please ask for help if you aren't sure how to access their SSO Portal.

Online Meetings

Zoom is an online video/ audio chat opportunity. Through this program, I have the ability to schedule individual or group meetings with students to help give additional support and instruction in areas of need.
