Hello! My name is Dawn Haney. Born and raised in the North Carolina mountains, my husband and I relocated to the Piedmont thirteen years ago. I graduated from Mars Hill College (now Mars Hill University) with a B.A. in Education and have worked in N.C. public schools for the past 21 years. I graduated from UNCG with my masters in Library Sciences in December 2020 and achieved National Board Certification in library sciences in 2024. I love being a Wizard and support our students and families on their journey to create life long readers.
