How do I access the Internet?

This information will be provided to the teachers. Your teacher can provide the access to the WMS BYOD wifi network.

When can I use my device?

You will be allowed to use device in class during instruction per teacher directive. However, certain areas of the school like locker rooms and bathrooms are ALWAYS off limits.

What if my device is damaged or stolen?

BYOD is optional and not a requirement , therefore your are bringing your device to school at your own risk. Wendell Middle and/or WCPSS is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen devices.

What happens if a student does not have access to a personal device?

Every core classroom has been outfitted with 10 brand new Lenovo Thinkpad 13 Laptops. Again: participating in BYOD is entirely optional.
