International Percussive Studies

Audition Information

All students interested in participating in the International Percussion Studies class *must* complete at least one year of band or choir or at least one year of lessons.  Auditions for percussion will be in March/April. Students or parents should email Mrs. Martel (jmartel@wcpss.net) to receive their audition materials and submit a video audition. Non-musical qualities I am looking for in these students include responsibility, a positive attitude, leadership skills, and intrinsic motivation. 

Required Materials

Drumsticks - labelled with their name
A drum pad - labelled with their name
A bell kit - I recommend  the Pearl Brand
