Who: Advanced Ensemble 7th and 8th Grade students with ensemble skills averages above 85%

What: Carowinds Festival of Music

When: Thursday May 04, 2023

Where: Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte

Why: To receive adjudication scores and feedback from expert judges, observe peer performances, and have fun!

How: By charter bus!

Cost

The cost of the trip will be anywhere from $100 per student. This price will include the student's admission to the park, transportation, and t-shirt. Students should also bring money for one meal. If the price of the trip is a barrier to your student participating, please let Ms. Lassiter know as soon as possible!

Chaperones

We have 11 chaperones for this trip. Thank you for volunteering! Make sure to stop by a WCPSS site to complete your volunteer registration. 

Attire

We will wear informal attire for this trip. Students are expected to wear full-length black bottoms with no rips or tears, sneakers, and their Voices of the Lake T-Shirt tucked in.
