What does AIG look like in 4th and 5th Grade?
Services for WCPSS AIG-identified students in grades 3-8 are served as outlined in their DEP. Services include differentiated curriculum and instruction in reading/language arts and/or mathematics in the general education setting. With the support of the AIG teacher, classroom lessons are differentiated through content, process, and product. The AIG teacher will extend and enrich grade-level standards through consultation with the general education teacher and direct instruction to the students. Service delivery in class and/or pull-out classes may vary depending on course offerings and student performance.
