Students practice drawing a chair using proportion and wide range of values

Students view examples of self-portraits and learned gridding technique

Students use a self-portrait photo, mathematical measurement, proportion and shading techniques to recreate their photo in pencil

Students practice fabric shading in pencil to understand how fabric flows when light is cast
