Congratulations to our Varsity Dance Team placing 1st in Game Day and 2nd in Pom out of 9 teams at the Capital City Classic! The team has also placed 1st in Game Day at the Fort Mill Invitiational and top 3 in Game Day and Pom at the NCDTA Millbrook Regional. Come see us at our last contest of the season at Apex HS on 2/14!
Save the dates as our clinics start April 15. Clinics are optional but great opportunity to learn the dance team style and see what being on the team is all about. Auditions will be May 5-7 and required for anyone wanting to be a member for the next school year. All times/locations are on the google calendar!
The Varsity dance team performs at all Varsity Home Football games, pep rallies, Varsity Basketball halftimes, and competitions throughout the East Coast. The team received superior ratings in Game Day and Pom at the 2019 UDA National Championships and most recently became a finalist in Large Varsity Pom at the NDA Nationals in March 2024, placing in the top ten and making history for WHS and WCPSS at this National event! Our 2025 NDA Nationals appearance had he Varsity team making Large Game Day Semis for the first time in school history!
