The Varsity dance team performs at all Varsity Home Football games, pep rallies, Varsity Basketball halftimes, and competitions throughout the East Coast.  The team received superior ratings in Game Day and Pom at the 2019 UDA National Championships.  In 2024 the team became a finalist in Large Varsity Pom at the NDA Nationals, placing in the top ten and making history for WHS and WCPSS at this National event!  Our 2025 NDA Nationals appearance had the Varsity team making Large Game Day Semis for the first time in school history!  The Varsity team has also been awarded Grand Champions at the Green Level competition having the highest scoring routine of the day along with top choreography awards  and best technique.  In 2026 the Varsity team won the Game Day category many times, placed 2nd in pom (out of 9) and received a bid to attend the first ever NCDTA State Championships.  

We plan to attend States and Nationals in the 2026-27 season!
