Mrs. Watkins

My name is Anna Blake Watkins. This will be my 19th year teaching kindergarten and my 8th at Wakefield! I got my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from UNC in 2007. A few years later I went back to Carolina for my Masters of Education with a focus in literacy. In 2012 I received National Board Certification. I live in Wake Forest with my husband, Britt, our 2 children, Elizabeth (12) and Harris (7), and our 3 year old dog, Cooper! I'm so excited for a great school year!

My name is Joni Rezac and I have had the privilege of working at Wakefield Elementary as an Instructional Assistant for the past 21 years. During this time, I worked with incredible students, supportive families, and dedicated colleagues who all share the same goal— helping children grow and succeed. I am married to my husband, Steve, and have 2 children, Carter and Emily. In my free time I enjoy cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes and the UNC Tar Heels. I look forward to another excellent year at Wakefield Elementary!
