Face-to-face learning opportunities and digital resources were curated in the WakeForward platform, searchable in Canvas and eSchool, and sent out via email reminders.

Overall, we are pleased with the level of participation from schools in our first year of implementation. As we look ahead to the 2019-2020 school year, we plan to address barriers to participation in order to increase the percentage of schools who are participating in learning opportunities that support specific goals for growing their school library program.
We took a poll during the opening session of Spring Convergence, asking for attendees to list barriers to participation. A word cloud of their responses is below.
Release a schedule of all focus area PLT dates and locations at AAT days to allow greater opportunities for people to plan their schedule, secure substitutes, and manage their time.
Provide opportunities for those excelling in a particular focus area to share their best practices with others looking to grow their programs in those areas.
Include trainings from other WCPSS departments in the WakeForward platform as early in the school year as possible to allow for better planning and participation.
Provide flexibility in how MTACs use the School Library Program Assessment survey. Schools can select to retake all or part of the assessment, or continue to utlize the data from last year in their MTAC conversations.
