Welcome, mathematicians! 

Welcome to Math 1 with Ms.Day! 

Wake County uses the MVP curriculum for high school Math 1. MVP encourages students to: 

• engage in a classroom task

•  try new strategies

•  be inventive

•  regard mistakes as learning opportunities

•  learn from the classroom discussion 

There are resources for each lesson posted on the Wake County Math Resources page. The first quarter we will cover our first two units- Unit 1: Sequences and Unit 2: Linear and Exponential Functions. Both units will focus on analyzing patterns and representing them using equations, tables and graphs. 

Students will need: 

      - Pencils 

      -  organized way to keep up with paper (notebook/ binder with lined paper)
