11/1/2020 Tuesday is an asynchronous day.

All students that meet on Tuesday will need to come to class on Thursday or Friday at their scheduled times for reading and math. Please let me know if you have any questions.

10/23/2020 Battle of the Books Meeting

To all Reading AIG students, our first Battle of the Books meeting will be Wednesday, October 28. Students will join the google meet in their Media google classroom.

9/28/2020 Happy Track Out Week!!

9/28/2020 Reminder--- there are no live meets this week however there is an assignment posted in our google classroom. Please complete the assignment. We will continue with our meeting on October 19, 2020

BATTLE OF THE BOOKS

9/20/2020 We are so excited to introduce Battle of the Books to students this week. Mrs. Thompson and I will be introducing this program through students' media lessons this week and next Monday. As part of the AIG program I require my reading students to take part in the program as we will build learning paths around a few of the books that will be on the BOB list this year. If you do not want to participate in this please email me and we can discuss it.

9/20/2020 Due to the introduction of Battle of the Books I will need to move one class to another time this week. If you are in Ms. Thomas or Mrs. Barksdale's 5th grade class, our meeting will still be Tuesday but it will be at 11:30 instead of 10:45. I will also ask your teachers to remind you on Tuesday.

9/20/2020 Students please remember to mark your calendars for your google meets this week. You will need to attend class to complete the assignment in your google classroom.

Thank you to all the families and students for making it a great week! It was great to get started with the students this week.

We will not have AIG classes next week. Monday is a Holiday and I will be in training the rest of the week. We will resume our classes on Monday, September 14.
