Hello Families!
In the classroom I follow two core beliefs... One, I truly believe in Dr. Chapman's 5 Love Languages. We all respond to love in many different ways and feel loved in different ways and I can only hope to find out a child's and incorporate that love language in the classroom. Second, I believe in Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences because we all have strengths in different areas.
After working with NCSU and PBL Works, my classroom focus is on real world learning, authenticity, and having student voice and choice. I expect kindness in the classroom and want to see my students shine!

En el aula, sigo dos creencias fundamentales... Primero, creo firmemente en los 5 lenguajes del amor del Dr. Chapman. Todos respondemos al amor de muchas maneras diferentes y nos sentimos amados de distintas maneras, y solo espero descubrir el lenguaje del amor de cada niño e incorporarlo en el aula. Segundo, creo en las inteligencias múltiples de Howard Gardner porque todos tenemos fortalezas en diferentes áreas.
Después de trabajar con NCSU y PBL Works, mi enfoque en el aula se centra en el aprendizaje del mundo real, la autenticidad y la participación y la capacidad de decisión de los estudiantes. Espero amabilidad en el aula y quiero ver a mis estudiantes brillar.
