Mrs. Perry

My name is Cheryl Perry and I am so happy to join Turner Creek Elementary! My husband and I have just relocated from Vancouver, Washington to be with our daughters and grandkids. I've lived many places including Colorado, California, North Carolina, Indiana, and Washington, but my favorite was always North Carolina.

This will be my 17th year in education, primarily teaching 4th and 5th grades. I earned my bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University in California, and after many years in the high tech industry, I went back to school to complete teacher certification at Purdue University in Indiana. I began working in Vancouver School District in Washington and completed my Masters in Education there. I am so excited to start the next chapter here in North Carolina.

In my spare time I love cooking, gardening, and being a grandma!

Teaching is my passion, pleasure, and privilege and I look forward to a wonderful year with all my students and their families .
