About Mrs. Stroup

I am a North Carolina native, born and raised in Wilmington, NC. I attended New Hanover High School, where band was my favorite part of the day. For college, I stayed in Wilmington to attend UNCW (go Seahawks!), where I double majored in Elementary Education and Music.

In 2004, I joined the staff at Adams Elementary. I love our school family and all our loving students!

My husband and I live in Holly Springs with our children. Our son, Scott, is a sophomore at Fuquay-Varina High School and plays trombone in the marching band. Our daughter, Amber, is a seventh grader at Herbert Akins Road Middle School and plays trumpet in the school band. We also have three cats; Thunder, Lightning, and Jaspurr.

In my free time, I enjoy sewing, knitting, and taking bike rides with my children.
