Viral History Project

Day 1: Analyzing Successful Social Media Campaigns

Using what we have learned in class and this graphic organizer, work in teams to analyze each of the social media campaigns below. Don't forget to consider how things go viral.

Day 2: Planning Your Social Media Campaign

You will be working as a team to create a viral social media campaign to support a historical movement. You will choose from one of the four topics below. You may choose to go off-topic, but you will need teacher approval and permission from an adult at home.

Step 1: Choose one person from your team to open this graphic organizer for your planning. It will force you to make a copy. That person should then give editing rights to the other group members.

Step 2: Choose from one of these topics or seek approval/permission to go off-topic. Then use the resources below for help in your planning. If you are going off-topic, you will find your own reliable, high-quality resources with help from your teachers. Use the graphic organizer to create a plan for how you will set up your social media campaign and make it go viral.
