I grew up in the Apex area. For elementary school I went to Briarcliff Elementary and then Morrisville Elementary when Year Round Schools opened in Wake County. I went to West Lake Middle School and then onto Apex High School.
As you can see from the picture we are HUGE East Carolina University fans! GO PIRATES! My husband and I both went to ECU for college. We have 2 kiddos, Camden (9 - 4th Grade) and Lila Grace (7 - 2nd Grade). They both go to West Lake Elementary as well. We have a Mini Golden Doodle named Sadie and she is full of energy but is also a champion at napping.
I have been teaching in Wake County since I graduated from ECU in 2006. I have taught 4th Grade, 5th Grade, Science as a Special (pre-k through 5th) and last year was my first year teaching 2nd grade and I absolutely LOVE this grade level and age!
