*Meet the Teacher Night will be on Friday, August 19th from 4:30PM-6:30PM where our families can come and learn more about West Cary Middle and what we have to offer! Students will receive their schedules and be able to meet all of their teachers. All students must be accompanied by an adult during the entirety of the event. I look forward to seeing you there!

*NEW Bell Schedule
Starting in the 2024-2025 School Year, there will now be six periods throught out the day as well as lunch. The time spent in each core class is 15 minutes longer than before. Students will still have two elective classes. There will also be SEL (Social Emotional Learning) provided on Mondays during Homeroom. The Club Day schedule as well as the one, two, and three hour delay schedules are also provided to the right.
*NEW Carpool Drop off/Pick-up and Bus Lot locations
Starting in the 2024-2025 School Year, the 6th Grade Carpool will now be in the old bus loop off NE Maynard Rd. 7th and 8th Grade Carpool will be at the Main Entrance off Evans Rd. All buses will now use the loop outside the Gym. No cars will be allowed in that area. See the slideshow to the right for more details.
*CELL PHONE POLICY: Students will not be able to use their cell phones during the school day (7:00 am to 2:15 pm) without special permission. If students choose to continue bringing their cell phones to school, they must remain turned off in the studentās backpack. Students will be able to contact home by calling home from the front office. In addition, families needing to get in touch with their child may do so by calling the front office. Please also know that the policy will allow students with medical needs (a medical note will be required) to have their phones with them. Students will also have the opportunity to use their cell phones at the conclusion of the day to make arrangements related to transportation. We encourage all our families to familiarize themselves with the new policy by reading the specifics which may be found here.Ā
*Free/Reduced Meal applications are now available for the 2024-2025 School Year. You can find more information on how to sign up here.
*ALL students who intend to ride a bus for the 2024-2025 school year must register for a bus route (even if you have registered in the past). To do so, please apply here.
