My name is Stacy Hayes and I am the lead school counselor and the counselor for 8th grade at RMS.   I am excited to be working with this wonderful group of students for the 3rd year!  I received a Bachelor's degree in French Education from Miami University (Ohio), and earned a Masters degree in School Counseling from Purdue University. Prior to being a middle school counselor, I spent several years as an elementary school counselor. I promote student growth and learning through classroom guidance lessons, individual counseling, small groups, and by collaborating with parents, staff, and community members, to provide a comprehensive, data-driven school program.  I believe that every student can succeed and I am committed to supporting students as they forge their own path to achieving their dreams and goals.  

In my spare time outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as walking, swimming, kayaking, reading, and learning about other cultures.
