Itinerary
Arrive in concert attire: 6:00am Depart RMS: 6:30am
Arrive Concert Site South Pointe HS: 9:45am
Choir Performs at 10:40am
Travel to park and arrive between 11-11:30
*Choir students have free time in the park with chaperone supervision at ALL times during our stay at Carowinds. NO student will leave the park, and all students will stay with chaperone groups. Awards Ceremony at Carowinds Amphitheater: 5pm
Students meet at buses for departure: 7:45pm
Depart Carowinds: 8:15pm
Arrive Rolesville Middle School: 11:30pm
COST:
$125 per student
$50 per chaperone (this is to provide your ticket into the park- as of right now). It is recommended that parents drive if they are chaperoning to allow students to ride the bus.
Student Cost includes: admission to park,music festival participation fees, and festival tshirt.
Please pay by CHECK written to RMS ARTS BOOSTERS and enclose permission forms in envelope (please read DUE DATE below). You may also pay via Cheddar Up located on the RMS Choir Page under the Carowinds tab.
Make sure you write "Carowinds” & student name in memo line if you are writing a check.
OTHER INFORMATION:
• You will need money for lunch and dinner in the park I would recommend bringing a lunch that you can eat at the bus between our performance and entering the park)
• Attire for the day will be our choir tshirt and shorts or pants.
• We need at least 1 chaperone per 10 students, should be 5 or 6. You MUST be enrolled in the volunteer registry with Wake County Schools. This is NOT a short process and needs to be done VERY soon if not already done.
• Chaperones MUST fill out a chaperone information LINK by the time money is due. Chaperone LINK is located online.
• Choir Chaperones must accompany us on the trip and stay with students from at least: Arrive Carowinds@11am to Depart Carowinds@8:15pm
DUE DATE: Check, permission forms, and health form and Chaperone requests must be completed and put in an envelope with student's name and “Carowinds” on the front. PAYMENTS are due NO LATER than:
Tracks 3 and 4: March 28th
Track 1: April 9th
Students and Chaperones will NOT be accepted after this date!!! (not because we don't want more, but we have to get everything ordered and paid for)
