Our curriculum is designed to cover a variety of ancient civilizations through a thematic approach. We focus on 6 keys areas:
- G- Geography
- R- Religion
- A- Achievements
- P- Political Structures
- E- Economic Systems
- S- Social Structures
We will wrap up the year with the Early Middle Ages!

Hello! This is my 7th year teaching at Reedy Creek Middle School. I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade Social Studies again this year! I graduated from Appalachian State University and grew up in Wake County. I love to travel whenever possible, which truly sparked my passion for studying history. Besides teaching I also lead the RCMMS Dance Team.
