Week of June 1st will be our official last week of virtual learning where students will have an actual assignment due. Congrats to the students and parents on this new way of learning - many students exceeded my expectations and Iām so proud of all of the Raiders!
Next week we will be reading āThe Lady or the Tiger,ā a suspenseful story about a King, a Princess, and a barbaric court system. Students will explore the literary elements of conflict, plot, and suspense which are used to move the story along. Itās a favorite of Mr. Sullivanās and Iām excited to hear what the students think of it too!
The Week of June 8th we will follow the activities posted on the flyer emailed on May 29th, Iāll send it via Remind too. Finally, I would encourage students to complete any missing assignments in ELA as these were written to make sure students were better prepared for 7th grade standards. Powerschool reflects completed assignments for Weeks 1 -6 and Week 7 will be updated this weekend.
Finally, Week 8 work will go live on Monday at 7:45 a.m. in Google Classroom. Encourage students to view Screencast first. Itās Linked HERE if you are curious about the last lesson of the year!!
