What is AIG? The purpose of the Academically and/or Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Program is to provide an appropriately challenging educational program for students who perform, or show potential for performing, at remarkably high levels of accomplishment when compared to others of their age, experience, or environment. Academically or intellectually gifted students exhibit high performance capability in intellectual areas, specific academic fields, or in both intellectual areas and specific academic fields. Academically or intellectually gifted students require differentiated educational services beyond those ordinarily provided by the regular educational program. Outstanding abilities are present in students from all cultural groups, across all economic status, and in all areas of human endeavor.

About Mrs. Bunn
I am thrilled to be the AIG teacher at Pleasant Grove, home of the Flyers!! I have been an educator for the last 35 years!! I have taught most elementary grades, Pre-K through 4th grade. I spent a few years being an AIG teacher before going to the district office to support elementary schools. I then became an Assistant Principal before retiring in 2018. Since then I have worked part time as an AIG teacher. You will find me at PGES on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays!
