How to Use This Toolkit
Welcome to our Professional Learning Team Toolkit. This resource houses tools and processes to help develop and strengthen professional learning teams across our district.
Our goal for providing this additional resource is to assist schools in further developing structures needed to enhance collaborative problem solving positively impact student achievement.
Are you uncertain of what a highly effective PLT looks like? Are you interested in knowing more about what things should be happening during protected PLT time? Do you want to learn more about structures and processes that maximize your PLT?
As you search through the toolkit, you do not have to start at the beginning. If there are areas that interest you, begin there. Within each module/topic below, you'll find many pages with embedded files to be reviewed or downloaded for your use.
Note: Several resources in our toolkit reference Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) instead of PLTs. Please, use those documents just the same.
