About NJHS

The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship in the students of this school.

A member of NJHS pledges to adopt higher ethical and behavioral standards than what is normally expected of middle school students. Membership is exclusively limited to eighth grade students. Seventh grade students, however, should be keenly aware of the importance of the ideals upheld by NJHS, and they should strive to attain and maintain those ideals throughout the school year. Inductions are held at the end of the seventh grade year.
