7th Grade Band

This includes the following...

• Continuing to develop on your instrument with an emphasis on INTERMEDIATE skills & knowledge.

  • • • Students can learn another instrument in 7th Grade (Talk w/ Mr. Hartman!).

        • • • Oboe

            • Bassoon

            • Bass Clarinet

            • Tenor Saxophone

            • Baritone Saxophone

            • Euphonium

            • French Horn

            • Tuba

• Continue developing fundamentals of music theory and performance.

• Collaborating with students as an ensemble (we are a TEAM, and there is no I in Band!).

• Performing for the school and community at designated events.

• Performing at Music Performance Adjudication.

Students will need the following materials to succeed in this class:

• 1 Inch Binder w/ Notebook Paper, Page Protectors, and Dividers

• Pencils (NO PENS)

• Instrument & Equipment

• 7th: Essential Elements Book Two (Red Book)

All of the following resources are approved by WCPSS and can greatly assist with your studies!
