Meet Ms. Budway

Hello everyone, I am Ms. Budway!

I am from Cary, NC, which means I went through the Wake County school system from elementary through high school! I met my husband in high school, at Panther Creek in Cary, and now he is a social studies teacher there!

I began taking piano lessons at age 8 and knew then I wanted to be a music teacher. I went on to UNC-Wilmington to earn a B.A. in Music Education and to UNC-Greensboro to earn my Masters in Music Education. Outside of the classroom I teach piano and voice lessons and I am a huge advocate for the marching arts!

Besides music, I enjoy obstacle course racing, wakeboarding, hiking, camping, and anything outdoors! I am a huge advocate for health and fitness.

Fun Fact: Ms. Budway competed on Season 13 of American Ninja Warrior!
