About Me

My name is Maranda Nussbaum and I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year! This will be my 12th year of teaching and my seventh year teaching third grade. I am originally from the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. I moved to Charlotte and obtained my BA degree from UNCC. I have been married to my husband Brian for eleven years.

My hobbies include clogging, hiking, and backpacking. I have been a clogger for over 25 years, and I am a member of the 2014 All American Clogging Team.

I LOVE sloths, Harry Potter (Team Hufflepuff), Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and the Dallas Cowboys!

I am a Google Certified Level 1 and Level 2 educator.

I was PUE Teacher of the Year for 2015 and 2020.
