Hello! My name is Mrs. Murray. This is my sixth year at Mills Park Middle School. Previously, I taught 6th Grade Science at Wake Forest Middle School. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Science Education, and I absolutely LOVE teaching 6th grade. 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time gardening, kayaking, and indoor rock climbing. My husband and I love to travel and have been many places, including: South Korea, Japan, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and 27 National Parks across the United States! We have a sweet puppy who is five years old. Her name is Millie, and is a chocolate lab mix. I am originally from Waxhaw, NC, but I have been living in Raleigh for the past 11 years. You will often find me tending to our School Garden - and I would love help from some of you throughout the year!
