My name is Mrs. Gould and I've been educating students for several decades in 3 different states: Texas, Utah, and North Carolina. In fact, I've had two separate stints in Wake County; both at Morrisville. We moved to Cary, NC in 2000 and I taught 5th graders for 6 years. My children spent several years here at MES before we moved to Utah. We were very excited to return to the area in 2012. When I moved back, I taught 4th grade for four years and then switched to 3rd grade. I taught third grade for eight years and now I moved back to 5th grade. It is like a got a promotion and skipped a grade. 😃 5th grade is a special year for students to end their elementary school career. Student leadership and independence are the hallmarks of 5th grade. It is a year to solidify leaning behaviors and academic confidence. I'm proud to call MES my home.
I am married and have 2 adult daughters. Both girls are married so now we enjoy having 2 son-in-laws. Now I have a grandson who has brought so much joy in our family. In my spare time I like to go hiking, kayaking, and fishing with my husband and of course I love spending time with our grandson.
