Mrs. Duty

I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. My dream came true in 1998 when I graduated from Meredith College with a degree in Early Childhood Development and a K-6 teaching license. I taught 4th and 5th grade for 9 years before leaving the classroom to become a Wake County Math Coach. My love of math and desire to work with other teachers enabled me to be out of the classroom until last year when I returned to work with 3rd graders. I love seeing the look on kid's faces when things make sense and new learning is happening. I am beyond blessed to be able to come to work every day with amazing professionals who love kids and teaching as much as I do.
