Elizabeth Gilliam has been teaching for twenty-five years, twenty-three of them at Wakefield Elementary.  She has taught kindergarten, first and second grades.  She loves reading aloud to children and watching them learn.  She earned her bachelor's degree from Taylor University (Indiana) and master's degree from Milligan College (Tennessee).  Mrs. Gilliam is national board certified in early childhood education.  She is married and has two children, Emily and John, who are proud Wakefield Elementary alums.  In her free time she loves to bake, read and play games.
