Mission+Vision

Vision: Through the implementation of the school counseling program, all students at Apex Elementary will build meaningful relationships that demonstrate empathy and cultural awareness to positively impact the world around them. Students will demonstrate mastery of skills, knowledge and abilities needed to be productive citizens and capable leaders so that they may confidently pursue college and career opportunities in the 21st century.

Mission: The comprehensive school counseling program at Apex Elementary will engage all students in a data-driven and intentional way to teach socioemotional and academic skills and college/career readiness. Students will become effective collaborators, creators, communicators and critical thinkers to successfully compete in the 21st Century. Counselors will create a safe, equitable and successful environment that removes all barriers to ensure every student reaches their full potential.

All students can learn to become self-advocates and resilient in facing life’s challenges.

The school counseling program is based on specified goals and developmental student standards.
