Mr. Hines

Hello everyone! I’m George Hines III, but you can call me Trey. I’m the healthful living physical education teacher at Swift Creek, and I feel truly fortunate to have the chance to work with our amazing students. I have been teaching at Swift Creek for nearly 4.5 years now. My goal is to make a positive impact not just on the students, but on the entire community.

I graduated from the University of Mount Olive in 2018 with a degree in health and physical education. I’m happily married and have a wonderful 6-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter. I grew up in the Apex area so this was a great opportunity to be closer to my hometown. I’m a big sports fan, and my favorite teams include Duke, the Carolina Panthers, and the Carolina Hurricanes. In my free time, I love working out, spending time with family and friends, and going on cruises—my favorite way to vacation!

I’m deeply passionate about health and physical fitness, which is why I’m so grateful for the opportunity to teach the students at this school. My goal is to provide students with the tools they need to live a lifelong healthy and active lifestyle.
